This is a list of self-authored composer profiles. Many of them describe people who are or have been active on the forum.

Please note: if you create an overtly commercial profile and you have contributed nothing else to the site, it is likely to be deleted.

Why create a profile?

It can be a good way to showcase yourself and/or your work. Alternatively, it can just be a little bit of fun.

What should a profile look like?

It is required that you add {{thisisaprofile}} to the top of your page, in order to distinguish your profile from the other articles on Young Composers. You must also add [[Category:YC Profiles]] to the end of your profile to include it in the YC Profiles category. Aside from those two requirements, there are no hard-and-fast rules, though the following points generally apply:

1. Write in the third person (i.e. use "he" instead of "I", "his" instead of "my").
2. Make use of the wiki formatting functions to divide content into easily-digestible sections. Formatting examples can be found in this sample profile.

How can I create a profile?

1. Enter your first and last name in the box below (e.g. John Smith) and click Submit. You'll then be taken to a page that you can use to start creating your page content. It's that simple.
