Background: David Zaks (b. 1992) resides in Hoboken, NJ. Music has been a part of his life since the age of seven. He studies jazz at the Wachovia Jazz for Teens program in Newark, NJ and classical piano at The Palisades School of Music in Fort Lee, NJ. He also composes jazz.

Performances: Acton Jazz Cafe (Acton, MA), Cecil's Jazz Club (West Orange, NJ), Holy Grounds Cafe (Allendale, NJ), Jazz Standard (NY), New Jersey Performing Arts Center (Newark, NJ), Park Performing Arts Center (Union City, NJ), Steinway Piano Gallery (Paramus, NJ), Trumpets Jazz Club (Montclair, NJ).

Awards: 1st Place in the New Jersey Music Teachers Association Young Musicians Competition (Princeton, NJ); 2nd Place in the Wagner Young Musicians Competition (Staten Island, NY).
