Harris Tartell

Harris Tartell (b. 1992) is an American composer and pianist residing in Great Neck, NY. He is a completely self-taught composer of orchestral and chamber works. Harris studies piano performance at the Manhattan School of Music under the world-recognized Tatiana Goncharova. His music has been reviewed by composition professors and professionals, and has been regarded by them as a composer of unique, warm, and stylistic music. Harris was accepted into the Young Composers Program and the Cleveland Institute of Music. His chamber work was premiered in the Mixon Hall in University Circle. His works incorperate elements of jazz, latin influences and rich harmonies.
