One of his earliest memories of classical music was sitting in front of a stereo system, listening to the overture to Tannhauser with fascination. His first instrument was the piano, but he soon decided to focus on the cello as a primary instrument. He played in several student orchestras to hone his skills as a musician, eventually joining up with the St. Louis Symphony Youth Orchestra. He was in a student string quartet for four years. He has been composing for several years now, and hopes to master the technique of orchestration someday. He currently attends Missouri Baptist University, pursuing a degree in Music Education.
