Biography
Jamie Whitmarsh was born May 27, 1988 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He moved from place to place until finding his home in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, in 2001. Graduating from Bartlesville High School in May '06, he proceeded to study
Composition and Percussion at Oklahoma City University, and plans to graduate in 2011. Jamie has studied percussion with Steve Craft and Dr. David Steffens, and composition with Dr. Edward Knight.
Jamie's musical influences are vastly varied. He has completed several albums of material, ranging from metal ( http://www.stage.fm/atonementmusic ) to electronic ( http://www.stage.fm/MaximumEtcetera and http://www.stage.fm/LeavingHillcrestHeights .) Jamie also works in the art music world ( http://www.stage.fm/JamieWhitmarsh ,) which is his
