Joe has loved music all his life, but never learnt an instrument, and never thought he could write anything until 2005, when, after a severe injury to his back, he suddenly found a whole world of music waiting to be given life. It started with some songs (15 to date), most of them about events that had an emotional impact, or as a response to a need in someone he cared about.

Then in the middle of 2007 a door opened on a talent he didn't even know he had, and he started to write a musical journey through his life, in a very different style - largely classical, but with jazz and blues influences. So far he has written seven pieces, and is currently working on the eighth. The journey is almost up to the present, and he's not sure what will follow.

Perhaps musical theatre, or an opera.
