Leif Ove Andsnes

Leif Ove Andsnes (born April 7 1970 in Karmøy, Norway) is a Norwegian classical pianist. He studied with Jiri Hlinka at the Grieg Academy of Music in Bergen. Andsnes is an ardent champion of the works of Edvard Grieg, and has recorded music by him on several occasions. In 2002 he even played Grieg's piano concerto at The Proms.
