The Genius. The Man. The Jazz.

In 1980, Nova Scotia saw the birth of a future legend, Robin Jessome. Mr. Jessome grew up in a musical environment. His father introduced Robin to many musical styles when he was a child. This early exposer to music probably made Robin's head so open, his brain fell out. When Robin reached high school, he found his one true love, the trombone. Mentor by Mark Bezanson, Robin's love for the trombone grow deeper every day. Some say that if Robin ever quits the trombone, his heart will literally explode. This legend has not been confirmed.

Robin studied music at St. Francis Xavier University. He successfully earned a B. Mus in Jazz Studies. According to Mr. Jessome's website, he worked with some great musicians during his time at St. Francis. Perhaps working with his peers, or maybe it was the smell in the grass on his campus, but he finally found focus in his musical composition. It would be here that young Robin would begin to emerge as the hippiest, most hoppingest, trombonist to ever bone.

After mastering everything to master at St. Francis, Robin switched focus to the University of Toronto. He is currently still in Toronto, gracing the good people of T-Town with his musical muscle. He is now studying with trombonist William Carn and Terry Promane.
