I know we don't have it ;) It drove me nuts a while back so I just stopped trying.

And by that I mean the lack of having it... I tried to talk to Mike about it but knowing the little that I do about coding in wikies, I wasn't very successful. Do you know any clever alternatives? -- Bobstolemycookie-224 09:54, 12 January 2008 (EST)

Nothing (clever) comes to mind. We could play with JavaScript but all that would be pretty redundant and needless = overkill. Maybe we should get that extension if we want to do advanced stuff here. I guess you know... someone might not need all fields of these and you (I say you because it's only you who uses this article at present) may not need parameters that someone else needs. That's how this template slowly starts to lose from its purpose. Yep, there is no other way for it to exist. But lack of flexibility just makes the ones who know of or expect these capabilities make a simple customized table on their user pages. --Misha 13:50, 12 January 2008 (EST)

In the original version of that template, all fields were optional, with the exception of the person's name (and a few others) but because of the lack of parse, it had to be...modified.
