I was referring to the complexities in the sound, and they are connected to the score, for how a complex sound can be created without a complex score?
I know that music is not always happy nice and enjoyable...or beautiful...
But that is what I’m looking for when listening to music, I want it to be nice, pleasant and enjoyable...While listening to your piece , I didn’t find these qualities. But I did find the opposite effects which were, irritation, stress on the ear , and not pleasure. Now why should I like a piece of music that not only doesn’t give me what I look for but gives me the exact opposite?
You might say:
"Hey Saul, music is aint always about pleasure and nice"...
What is it then meant to be ? Irritation? Discomfort ? Annoyance and stress?
You might find these negative qualities as interesting or sophisticated and in some way even intriguing,, but I don’t feel this way.
I'll listen to these other works later on...
