Lol, I actually take everything you said there as a compliment. If you think that something is too metal for yourself but too musical for a metalhead, then I would hope that it's just both musical and metal.

As far as the name, the song started off as an attempt (albeit an unsuccessful one, but nevertheless) at depicting somebody being chased by, I don't know, a guy with an ax. Yeah, an ax. Like, a nine-foot ax. Yeah. Anyway, it's supposed to be the excitement and relief generated from the juxtaposed feelings of impending death and the cosmic "phew" that flows through you when danger passes. It ended up just having the rhythm guitar hit nothing but an E power chord for about a minute, but whatever. Anyway, I tend to give my songs pretty random and stupid names, like "Harmpit" and "Chalice of Malice". Just a little something to make you chuckle, even though the music sometimes has that effect anyway, fortuitously.

Yeah. . . thanks for the kind words.

Just listen to "Harmpit" and tell me that it doesn't make your bowels shake at least a little. I dare you.
