Both start slow...so give them a chance.
Anyway, a lot of the time I write a piece that in reality is quite good, but I just don't have a good vibe about it, like there is something missing...so I throw it out. This is the Earl Grey Overture. An overture to the Opera I am writing.
The other, the King Lear Overture, a summary of Shakespeare's wonderful play, is the exact opposite. In reality it is thin, tasteless, yet..there is something that kinda makes me want to keep it.
As you can see, I'm in a bit of a bind. This is where you all come in

!
What think you?
Oh, of course, neither are finished. The King Lear i just started. KL: 2 mins, EG: 6 so far.
