Like many other’s I’m a Googler. It’s the only search engine I use. It never fails to produce useful results.

I’m pretty sure I typed in “Composer’s Forum” because that’s what I was hoping to find.

I do recall that it came up with several different ones, but the others just didn’t seem to be very attractive for one reason or another (don't ask me what they were I don't remember). I liked the layout, look and feel, of the Young Composer’s forum site. At first I was hesitant to join (I’m 58), but then I read on the home page that old farts are welcome and encouraged to join despite the site’s title. So I joined.

I’m glad I did because it gives me a place to ramble on and on and on. (ha ha)

I’ve found everyone here to be very helpful and genuinely sincere about sharing their musical knowledge and wisdom as well as their wonderful works of musical art! So I’m addicted now.

I’ve only been here a very short time and I’ve already learned tons of stuff. I read a lot of lessons threads, etc, that I don’t post to. I try to stay out of people’s way and post in my own threads. But in my own threads I do tend to ramble on quite a bit.

Owl shut up now since this isn’t my thread.
