Thanks for listening frantz and manossg, I was wondering manossg, what exactly do you find doesnt work in the harmonies and the way they fit with the melody? I mean to my
ear they work, and yeah, I wasnt really follwing really traditional harmonic rules....
Actually, on that subject, I've been studying reasonably traditional tonal harmony lately and do either of you know at wich points rules like no parallel 5ths/8ves and so on began to be discarded? Was it around Debussy's time? Were those rules still adhered to in the Romantic era?
It's beats by the way, though I suppose breaths could fit too... whichever's most painful, really.
