Thank you for your kind words, Manossg! I admit I was worried that not having the unpitched percussion on the mp3 file would cause issues. (Frankly, I feel my time is better spent working on new music than dickering about with a Percussion map in Finale...)

My ultimate goal when writing is to make
every part interesting. I tend to think of my works as "chamber music" for band... where everyone plays an important and individual role. So, why not write some interesting solos?
Besides, if you don't challenge everyone, they'll get bored, and that boredom comes through when they play.
