Just for reference, helping out a person with the production end - i.e. samples and mastering - does not count as a collaboration for the purposes of this competition. However, it's mostly based on how much work it requires. Supplying samples or adjusting volume and EQ are extremely helpful - especially for those of us who suck at production - but most of the work has already been done with the composing. If the production end involves things like cuts, studders, massive effects, etc., it's going to be more like a collaboration. Ultimately, it should be decided by those involved, but these are some guidelines for how to gauge it.
