to me it feels a bit to 'open', mostly because the majority of the piece is written around adagio/andante, at slow pace, there's a lot of quarter, half and whole notes (and notes that extend to multiple measures). while this is okay, it tends to get boring after a while.
also, m. 40 to 42 kinda threw me off, since you introduce something that isn't really 'expositioned' well, or even at all (for lack of better words, english is not my main language).
one more thing though, the parallel seconds/ninths in m. 56 'wakes 'the listener up, but i don't think it suits the piece very well, it feels too random (while it does work in m. 59).
i also really like the sound of the last two measures, well done.
