For most of these, except for #8, I felt you (that was you on trombone I assume) and the drummer were in a private world that I wasn't sharing.
It reminded me somewhat of arriving late and sober at a party so I didn't know what happened earlier and everyone else had been drinking for hours - I didn't fit in.
Aside from my not getting most of the music (or because of that
), the sound often seemed thin - perhaps another instrument in the mix might help.
