Stephen Sondheim is about 77, Jason Robert Brown is about 38... BIIIIGGG difference. Just so you know, not trying to be a know it all, just stating the truth.

And, if Brown writes as much music as Sondheim did, then yes, he would be the future of Broadway... unless he starts writing crap (which is something Sondheim did, IMO, when he wrote Bounce)

ALSSSSOOOO, I looked it up (for the record), and Songs for a New World came out in 1995. So he has aLONG road ahead of him to match the other timeless Broadway composers.
