It's got a very pleasant build to it. Sort of laid-back and enjoyable to listen to. It's unobtrusive too, which is probably perfect for the in-game setting. I've got no specific critiques about the piece other than the "ending" : is the "end" I'm hearing in the player the actual end? It seems to cut off really abruptly, and it doesn't seem like it's meant to loop...I've opened it twice now in case it was just a loading issue, but it goes till 1:54 or so and then cuts off.

First off, I reuploaded the song. I'm not sure why it cut off like that.
The game technically takes place in medieval times, but seeing how its a fantasy game there are advanced technology that doesn't really belong and some that don't even exist today. So, it's kind of twisted. The developer said to make the music more modern-ish though. So, that's what I'm doing.

Love the percussions that come in at 1:30 or so. Also, when you restate the theme at 1:57, I felt that you should change the backing tracks a little instead of still sticking to the swelling synths, as to provide some variation to the piece. Or is that a loop like Marius stated?
As for the ending, most game music that loop end by fading out. You should try it too. 10~ 20 seconds of fading out would suffice.

I agree that the swelling might get tiring. I will probably take it out of the climatic section (1:29-1:56) and then bring it back or bring something else in it's place.
I don't understand what you mean by fading out to loop. Wouldn't that make it end and wouldn't sound right when it started again?
