Well, grades don't always come first.
At FSU, as a transfer, my acceptance to the music program determines whether or not I get into the school. The admissions office pretty much let's someone in to the COM if they say so. I mean, grades really don't matter that much for such a specialized program. You can't have horrible grades, but a 3.0 is all anyone really would need. Not that hard, right?
