At FSU, as a transfer, my acceptance to the music program determines whether or not I get into the school. The admissions office pretty much let's someone in to the COM if they say so. I mean, grades really don't matter that much for such a specialized program. You can't have horrible grades, but a 3.0 is all anyone really would need. Not that hard, right?

If you're a bad student and you don't even put in the effort to get decent grades and learn it will bite you in the ass later on. Being a music major doesn't exempt you from intelligence. Please don't paint FSU in this light, the school does have higher standards than that.
