Check out the East West Quantum Leap (EWQL) Symphonic Choirs library, it's very nice, and moderately affordable, though definitely a decent investment. See, it uses the basic building blocks of words (well, English and Latin words mostly), the vowels and consonant sounds, to create words. Each sound is sampled (with different mic positions and articulations, too!) and a program is used to build the words. In fact, the program is called "Wordbuilder" . It works pretty well, and you have a pretty decent amount of control over the sounds. If you're looking for a sampled choir (and soloists, though there are probably better solo samples out there) EWQL Symphonic Choirs would definitely be a good choice .
