Hey Marius,
I was googling around for Spectraball on a whim. You see, it's funny, because Jonathan told me *I* was the composer for the game... he never mentioned you, or anyone else. He also wanted me to do it for free, or minimal compensation. I've also noticed that throughout the lifespan of the game, in terms of the dev's posting on sites like Gamedev.net, the scope of the project has magically become larger... it went from a PC game to an Xbox Live-distributed game, to a Steam-distributed game...
I signed up to do it because I wanted a challenge, and because I haven't scored any games lately (I mainly write music for other media.) Though I normally get paid fairly well for music licensing, I figured that hey, being the exclusive composer for a project like this might be nice. I get demo material out of it either way.
Evidently, Jonathan has not been honest with me, nor has he been honest with you. I have no interest in continuing to work on this project despite the fact that I've completed music already and spent hours more on works in progress. If you would like to continue working on it you are welcome to but I encourage you to strongly consider whether or not it is worth writing for such a developer. Feel free to drop me an IM at "zirconmusic" to talk about this further.
Just looking out for a fellow composer...
