Excellent work - I like it rather a lot.
The sentiments in the poem are good, but in one or two spots the words come across a tad naïve. Otherwise good.
Good word-painting. Not too obvious (except for a couple of places), and effective.
Very low in the range for a baritone - perhaps better suited for a bass voice.

In the main theme, the off-beats almost seem to make the music trip over itself a little, and disrupt the rhythmic flow. It works, but it feels a little bit awkward. Maybe the syncopation could be in the violins or something, instead of the percussion etc.

Over-all, I liked the harmony. Very effective major/minor in some areas. One or two little areas could have been improved with better voice-leading, but very good as a whole.
Good orchestration too - very colourful, and evocative (one of the things I would say about the piece as a whole). - Those pulsing string replies are very nice.

Nice - I want to hear more. An evocative piece, which felt like a enclosed musical whole (even though it's a small piece), and is satisfying.

Good work with GPO!
