The very first video I looked at "mass edit, changing articulations" shows the longest, most complicated and least efficient use of the tool!
By the way, just for those wondering...
his example: if you have the tenuto articulation assigned to a quick key (as most of the basic articulations already are), using the articulation tool simply select all those articulations you want to change and press the quickkey twice...
if your tenuto quickkey is "T", then simply tap on "T" twice. it will change all selected articulations to the tenuto.
This also works using expresions... if you have dynamics set to numbers (I have pp -> ff set as 0 -> 6), and you want to change a whole goup of mp markings to mf, then just select them and double-tap the (in my case) "4" key.
I do NOT recommend this guy's site. If he doesn't know what the hell he's talking about on something as basic as this, then I would be afraid what sort of bullcrap he'd pull out for more complex issues.
Besides, his text is obviously being spoken "off the cuff". He seems to have nothing prepared in advance, as has been mentionned here - FAR too many "umms" and "uhhs". He wastes time entering notes to add expressions to them, instead of having a prepared measure ready ahead of time. (he also has a serious latency issue with his MIDI keyboard)
And the constant hum in the background... if you're going to SELL a product, at least, arrange that your microphone doesn't capture the cooling fan from your computer!
