There is a problem in measures 39-40 isn't there?
The melodic line ventures outside the range of the violin. Are you employing
Klangfarbenmelodie? LOL
But seriously, is this acceptable? I'm orchestration-illiterate.
Another thing in measure 40: I think the phrase is unnecessarily terminated (the melodic line in the violin should end with an A flat as in the original sonata, don't you think?).
I think this project is going swimmingly, but man you are committing a mortal sin of bumping. Repent!!
