When I am on a roll, I just can't stop. I have about 8 pieces I am working on right now that are in various stages and I am posting a little faster than I should, but the feedback helps a lot.

I updated my computer last fall to a Dual core w/3.0 chips and 4 gigs of Ram. I am presently running both the Kompakt player and the libraries on 1 hard drive and have loaded up to 35 tracks without a problem. This summer I hope to invest in a 2nd hard drive where I will put the libraries. My hard drive now is 7600 RPM, whereas I plan on buying the 2nd one at 10000 RPM.

The way I composed this was by playing the pizz cello line into sonar, from my keyboard. I then copied those 5 or 6 measures and let them replay. I then added, again by playing on my keyboard, the first 4 or 5 instruments. I then copied that and Played the rest on top of those. I would play a section once and get an idea, then hit record and record on top of weverthing else. I did some of the drawing in of the CC data (I still need to do a lot more of that) and then bounced it and Played with the audio file a little and then exported it. Like I said, this was only 3 hours, so there is a ton more work to do with the individual midis and CC data.

Which EW's did you buy? If it was Silver, you should have no problems. If Gold, then depending on how old your computer is, you may have problems. If you went Platinum, then I guess you need to network 3 - 4 comoputers to get it right.

I read at the EW site of a guy that is networking 8 computers with his libraries, but he can load almost the entire setup.

Thanks for the comments

Ron
