Bagatelle means a short unpretentious instrumental composition, a trifle as huckle said, which could apply to this piece. I don't think there is any indication of time or major/minor. It certainly wouldn't be wrong to call it a bagatelle.

My comment was based on your initial post where you spoke of "emotional effects" which seemed more than trifling and a performance not dashed off in a trifling manner.
