Trio Sonata

Hey Everyone, it's been a long time since I've posted... and I've only gotten through two chapters of harmony study and 2 in counterpoint practice; so yes, I'm still not a good composer.

With that out the way, I've begun writing a piece for my two band directors who've taught me for the past four or five years, and I've sketched out most of these movements on piano for the past year.

It's in the baroque-ish style, so don't rip it apart for being "old fashioned," please.

The first two movements, if not saved as such, should begin at quarter note= 80, and the third movement should be at 140. The second movement is fugal in nature, I'm not as proud of it for its subject as for the fact that I figured out that it can be used in a canon at the second.

My major question is; is it good enough for what it's intended for, or should I just give up on composing it? Feel free to give criticism, both negative and positive.

Thanks for any help or advice anyone can give.
