You are right about the trumpet. Back in 2003/2004 when I wrote this work, I didn't know that much about instrumentation, thus a few things are... difficult to play. (hope not impossible though...
)
Actually, this work, as many others, is written in manuscript with a pencil and no piano next to me. I didn't listen to this piece, until the score was done, through in Finale and I entered the studio! So I had (and still do) to relly on my mind, my inner ears and my knowledge of music and what I do!
