Woodwind Sextet
Hey guys, this is the first half of a woodwind sextet that I'm writing. I had everything from m 31 to the end read at the end of school, and I'm finishing this piece over the summer. This is the first half of the piece, I've got sketches for the second half, which is a different kind of texture, a sort of chordal thing with this 'theme' and then the ending which is basically a lot of the material layered over each other.
I don't like the horn, and I took it out and replaced it with the sax and a bass clarinet. I plan to write a few more pieces for this ensemble, but after I finish this piece, I'm going to work on some other stuff I have to have done for the fall first.
