Thanks for all the feedback! This was my second piece for band, and I was going for a semi-march feel, so I didn't want to make it too rhythmically intense... I mostly stick to 4/4 and use additive rhythms in that, rather than use non-conventional meters, as I feel they often alienate the audience.
As for the ending being abrupt, I basically had too many voices going. I wanted to have the oboe solo be a sort of echo of the theme from right beforehand, so as to make it feel slightly more distant, and use that to make the piece come to a close, but I think having the entire band play the chords made that ineffective...
As for having a PDF score, I don't, because I don't have Acrobat on my computer... sorry. >.<
