I really did love those flowing chords..they really sounded great..now as for the violin part, I thought it was perhaps the most beautiful melody of any solo violin piece on this forum.
The piece in general sounded very tragic and lost almost, like someone is recovering from the death of a loved one. (that's how I imagine it sounds anyway). I especially liked some of those areas of tension that build up in the piece and the resolve that come after them.
As for the winds..I would acually vote to keep them in, I like the timbre they emit..adds more of a mellow feel to this piece. I actually think that you should complete this piece..it seems at the very area that I was saying in my head "yes more.." it just ended abruptly. I would definitely like for you to complete this piece, simply because I think it's way to beautiful to be left unfinished. Hope to hear more Shane,
