I really like this. The mood of nervously hoping not to be disappointed - again - comes out very well in the music matching the lyrics. And the "crunchy" harmonies do add a lot of interest to the song.
I would have preferred a flute or recorder for the voice part in the midi as I find the synthetic voice rather unmusical - but this is a very minor quibble unrelated to the real music.
