I like this a lot.
there are some things I think could use some touching up.
this is personal, but...
at measure 7-8, it seems to me that the pauses should be longer. the lyrics call out for it. it's a bit too "continuous" there.
"just here", and "in passing" could use some extra care, extra time, extra pause.
even before I listened to the music, that leaped out at me from the score.
and the finale seems a bit rushed. I didn't quite feel a tension that releases at the final cadence.

In musical criticism, when issues of craft and technical consideration are set aside, what remains is more subjective. However, until technical issues are dealt with, the subjective portion bears considerably less weight.
