Jen: Thanks. About the repeating thing: I experimented on using a single motiff more than I usually do. This piece was a big step for me (maturity wise and technique-wise). You will notice that the motiff is used later in the piece as well. I was really just trying to keep a central idea with little interjections throughout the piece.

A fantasia is defined by the Oxford Dictionary of Music as "A Fantasy or fancy. Gernerally a composition in which form is of secondary importance... Such forms are usually contrapuntal and in several sections often with a common theme, thus being being an early form of variations."
