I think people were just getting testy because you didn't come in here and maybe leave a note saying "I don't have the time anymore for this." or something short, simple, sweet, and to the point. I respect that your time could be best vested elsewhere. That's not to say that I'd be displeased that I don't receive a nice handy review... your reviews were exquisite.
