Eh, it doesn't sound appealing to me. A piece for solo flute sounds great, but one based off a national anthem...I'd have to either write in a more traditional style, or else transform the anthem into a more modern style...Either way doesn't sound appealing to me.
Which is fine, I just won't do the competition. It's not like it pays anything, and I have enough work as it is
. Still, solo pieces are easier to write (for me, at least)
