I generally like the melody. The only thing I didn't like about it was it seemed a little repetitive. That's not to say that I could do a better job cause I don't think I could, but that's just the impression that I get. Overall, not bad, but it could use some refinement.
Yeah, I'm looking at fills and filler-type stuff to make it more interesting. About the repetition; I'm thinking a B section between the second and third repetitions, just to give the listener a little break. Ooh; maybe I can make it a full flute duet by having the B section be played along with the final A section. It would just have to fit so as not to detract from the melody. What do you think?
