Hi,

Here we go my first 3 Etudes for Piano - Op.31. They're a little less bizarre than my Op.48 Etudes and much less demanding on the performer and the listener.

Would love Comments and U guessed it Beefy Beef - If possible a Busendorfer soundfront mp3 please; (where does one get this program from & how does it work ?)

Thanks

Akhil G.

Have Chopin and Beefybeef had a look at my Concerto, Sonata, Suite & String Quartet posting ?

wonderful textures in this etude 2 f sharp minor and great undertanding of the piano writting. the dynamics are also greatly effective. congrats! you show great skill for piano composition. i have listened to your other etudes too (op. 48).

in overall, i agree with the others that said that your pieces have perhaps more virtuosity that inner substance, but i don't think that bad. at your age the most important is to develop, IMO, mainly the technical side of the music. it would be unfair to expect the great depths of meaning and substance found only in artisticly matured and old-aged composers who have had all kinds of life-experiences. just these life-experiences are able to fill the forms, but without good and sound forms no life- even the most exiting and wonderful life - would be able to find suited vehicles to express itself. anyway these structures are very intersting by itself and all them have one or two brilliant moments which deserves an attentive listening and justify your efforts. so, IMO you should go ahead with your study and devotion to music, for you are already writing very surprising, intersting - and many really deligtful - pieces for a so young composer.

i'd give a critique but i'm no professional composer. in fact, i've only started about a month ago. so i wouldn't want to say anything stupid on these forums. sorry. but i'm sure others out there are willing to say something.

i'll take a look at your concertos now.

Thank You for your wonderful feedback. Not all my pieces are firework diplays of virtuoity .... Have a listen to my 2 sonatas and a suite and you might just find in there what lacks in the etudes. A mp3 version of the piano concerto is now available on that post. Thanks
