This is my latest piece... honestly it's fairly simple, and easy to play for the most part, but it grew on me a lot. To me the more I listen to it the more beautiful it has become which is rare for me

It's scored for French Horn quartet and it took me about 5 hours over 2 days to write. There were the usual obstacles in writing four-part harmony, but nothing really unique to this piece.

It is inspired by a line from a letter written by a soldier in World War II to his wife back home. The line read "Sleep Well, My Darling. I wish I could be with you as often as my thoughts are."

I'm attaching both the midi file and the .mus. I think the sound is better in Finale if you have finale 06.
Any comments are welcome!
