This music is pretty good. It sounds like you are doing a lot of it by ear which works great once you have a really strong theory backround. I would go to google.com and do a search for instrument ranges. The 1st website is a huge thoery website and it has all of the ranges for instruments. I couldnt tell you if some of the instrument parts are out of thier ranges because i couldnt actually see the notes. The ranges on the site are not exactly right, but for your pourposes they will work great.
I personally would not like to listen to this music at a concert, but my little nephews and nices would love to dance around to it. The peices kindof lack emotion which is due to your inexperience in music and they midi sound. The songs sound kinda random like they are not realy going anywhere. In the seccond song I dont think there was a tempo, or atleast i couldnt feel one.
Keep on workin your doin very well for your 1st peice composed. You just need to listen to a lot of different styles of music, and maybe start learning a band instrument if you havent already to get a grasp on what instruments are capable of playing
