I would like to know what sort of harmonic techniques you use. I would assume that in a style like this, dissonance and consonance would be manipulated in subtle patterns... creation tension or resolution, etc..

yes you are right, i deal with harmony towards a balance of tension and relax. besides, i use many dissonances in order just to create different colors to the main texture. but i am afraid i am a poor instructor of harmony, i cannot even describe my own technique of composition, i just compose what comes to my mind without any previous planning. i am entirely self-taught and would say to my 'disciples': "just go and compose as you wish!" hahahahahaha!
