I'm glad you enjoyed it.
I don't want to get into actual harmonic processes, since that's very much a part of what makes each person's music his/her own.

However, the ideas behind this pretty much apply to most tonal and near-tonal harmony. Obviously, if someone is working from a completely non-tonal system, the system itself should be contributing largely to both thematic material and harmony.

In musical criticism, when issues of craft and technical consideration are set aside, what remains is more subjective. However, until technical issues are dealt with, the subjective portion bears considerably less weight.
