Well, I had this piece in Writer's Block, but as it's complete now, I suppose I should post it here now.
This is an orchestral piece that started as a melody on the piano. I liked the sound of it on the piano, so I kept the piano as an opener to the piece. I was working on this for a few weeks on-and-off. It doesn't have any particular structure, besides what came to me next.
This was inspired largely by John Williams' Harry Potter theme, although the things I wrote at the top of the staff paper as I was writing it down were words such as "bar, night, pirates...
"
