The drums were just one free loop i found, hence the boringness
and both guitars I recorded myself.

Thanks for the advice, perhaps when I can solo over a few more chords (III and V and VI for example
I might add another section, with a different rhythm or something, and I agree about a countermelody, something to fill in the big gaps in the melody.
