Anyone want to write me a piece for my interlochen recital?

I'm looking for new music to play at my oboe/english horn recital at interlochen this coming fall. If anyone's interested in writing a piece for me, that would be awesome. I'm going to have a piece of mine on the recital too, and I don't want it to be a lone random new thing when I'm playing the masterworks
The piece would be credited to the composer (duh! ) and a recording will be made and posted. I'm looking for anything written for oboe or english horn, either with or without piano. Thanks guys.

I've actually got the perfect piece for you. I'll find it and pass it along. It's difficult, but hopefully you'd enjoy it...remind me via PM or something if I don't give it to you within the next day or two.

Have you any stylistic preferences?

No preferences whatsoever. I'll take whatever you throw at me.

I'm definitely interested... might I ask what you're playing for the remainder of the recital? (if you have any chosen at the moment, of course)

Well. I have a lot of repertoire to choose from but I'm not sure exactly except for the starred ones. (pardon my notes :p)

La Triste Pastora - Victor Carbajo
Oboe Sonata - Elegy - Francis Poulenc
Cantabile (english horn) - Francois Rasse (4 min)
*"The Days Between" from Stepmom - John Williams (english horn?) 6 min
Oboe Concerto (which movement?) - William Alwyn
*Lied (english horn) - Eugene Bozza
Italian Fantasy - Eugene Bozza
"Allegro Guisto OR Allegro" from the Oboe Concerto - Domenico Cimarosa
Tango - Albeniz
*"Vivace" from the A minor Sonata - Georg Phillip Telemann
*"Allegro" from the A minor Concerto - Vivaldi
Piece en Forme de Habanera - Maurice Ravel
Fantasy on Popular French Themes - Vincent d'Indy
Fantasia from the English Horn Concerto - Pershetti
"Rigadoun" from Le Tombeau de Couperin - Maurice Ravel
*a piece by me
*another piece by someone else

Don't play the Cimarosa! It's so boring...

How long would you want to have to practise the piece? (i.e., a deadline of sorts)

Thanks for giving me a nice little poke in the inspiration. (hrm, mixed metaphor)

Do you mind if the piece is humorous?
