transcribed, not arranged.

watch for wrong notes.
and don't confuse fingerings with triplets.
also, don't change appogiaturas into "real" notes.

I don't see anything really worthwhile in this little endeavour.
As is, all it is is a transcription, not an arrangement. It is, note for note (minus the errors), the short 2-voice fuga in C minor from the Kleine Präludien und Fughetten.

This piece is really not meant to be played by woodwind instruments, and in my opinion doesn't survive the transition very well. There are almost no places to breath, and there are too many stylistically "keyboard" mannerisms in it.

In musical criticism, when issues of craft and technical consideration are set aside, what remains is more subjective. However, until technical issues are dealt with, the subjective portion bears considerably less weight.

Way to pop someones ego
I agree though, however, don't be disheartened. Just be aware that when you post something with 'Bach' in the title of your thread, you will
a) get a lot of views
b) those views will be of people with incredibly high expectations
c) you have to understand more than copy and paste to impress anyone with a Bach transcription/arrangement.

If you are disheartened, dont be...im just setting up the warning signs for you so that you can be prepared for rather upfront blows from people like QCCowboy.

To QCCowboy: Im not having a go at you. I just thought it was very...well truthful, but upfront. I do agree with you, so let's leave it at that.

While "direct" I don't think my comments were insulting.
They were nothing any other teacher would not tell a student, when faced with this sort of work.

That said, I wish to apologize to the OP if my comments came across as harsh. That wasn't the intent.

Remember, sometimes "harsh" on the internet is simply "not decorated with a bunch of superfluous smilies and flowery litterary gestures".
