Interesting. I might (just might) take time and try it myself!

Great! Bravo!

I really love this piece. The score extremely messy though...

Really enjoyed that. Would I be right in guessing you based that at least a little on Allegro Barbaro by Bela Bartok? (He's one of my favourite composers)

That was pretty cool. I thought the ending was awesome, the final chord always surprises me every time I hear it. I'll be listening, listening, listening, listening, and then BOOM!

But anyway, I really enjoyed the piece, all of your pieces are interesting, and never boring. And yeah, I'm suprised Tim Burton hasn't hunted you down yet. Although I can't say much about "harmonic progression" and whatnot, seeing as I don't even know what that is, I enjoyed it, and I think that's what counts.

Me enjoying it.

I really liked it. Really nice harmonies there, plus I think it has the whole barbaric/energetic thing really down to the last details, it's very aggressive. I really think the length is fine, it shouldn't be any longer that it is.

I like the rhythms too. Pretty good overall. The only thing I'd probably recommend is to clean up the score.

Scherzo Barbarico

Berlioz(M. Bulteau):

I haven't listened to most of the compositions posted here, but this is my favorite of those I've heard so far, and it also happens to be the closest to my own sensibility. Yes, it has some quirky rhythmic touches, but overall, this piece works for me.

I posted a piece last night, and no one has commented yet. Could you please listen to it and give me your opinion as its merit? I will post the sheet music soon, so everyone can see how strange it probably is on paper, but for now, just give it a listen. I have many more, but this one just happened to be the one I chose to post first, because it's short and abrupt, and I had just heard Ferkungamabooboo's "happy freetime funtime atonal" piece called (I think) "Wouldn't It Be Nice?"

Go to my post, "Here's One of My Short Piano Pieces" and listen to "He Wished." I've had very little feedback from anyone with an educated ear, so I'm very curious about how members of this forum might receive my work.

WOW! Amazing! Beyond the boundries of music! I don't think I've ever heard such a contrasting piece! It was just so: BANG! there it is! I can't explain it! Excellent use of technique and rythym, and it stayed together extrememly well! Definitely one of the top 5 pieces I've heard on so far!

Very good composition. Reminds me a little of Alkan for some virtuoso passages with alternate notes, a touch of jazz for the liveful rhythmic... The end is very good, and the piece a pure product of romanticism.
I will counterbalance some comments. I prefer a more "bang bang" (barbaric just for the rythm, bass and especially the end ?) and harsh-harmony piece but... that's a wondeful job too =D
